This course is designed for the basic needs of the manufacturing student, including instruction and practice in grinding, cutting, and Flux Core Welding in various positions. Topics Covered including safe use of welding equipment and machinery, grinders, and various tools used in the welding field. This course is designed to teach the student proper welding techniques using .045 wire in various positions. The student will safely set up welding equipment, learn how to adjust it, how to operate it, and how to weld in various positions. After successfully passing this course there will be an opportunity to take the AWS Certification exam.
Tuition includes all books, supplies, personal protective equipment and AWS Certification exam.
