Instruction period does not guarantee student will pass the state license examination or that the student can secure a license. Completing the re-examination course does not waive the minimum holding period to obtain a CDL license. First-time commercial drivers interested in completing a CDL driver training course in lieu of holding a CDL learner's permit for 30 days must complete both classroom and in-vehicle instruction at any one of the CDL driver training schools listed on DMV's website. You will be dropped from the CDL Knowledge Refresher Course for any of the following reasons:
1.Being absent three (3) days during the 8 days which the class is in session
2.Being tardy or leaving early during any class activity three (3) or more times during the 8 days which the class is in session.
3.Any combination of absences and tardies that total three (3) instances.
If you are absent, tardy or leave early three (3) times from any portion of the training you will be dropped from class! Students dropped from the course are not eligible for a refund of tuition and fees. There is no policy in effect for making up missed classroom instruction.
