Do you want to study wildlife and the environment? Are you ready to explore the natural environment in our community? If so, this camp is for you! Join us in this outdoor and laboratory adventure. Activities and topics include bird field identification, wildlife photography, daily nature hikes, animal field signs and tracking identification, lab experience with binoculars and microscopes, dissection of owl pellets and feathers, bird behavior and adaptations, wetlands conservation, butterflies and dragonflies, meeting live animals and snakes, lab experiments, bird anatomy, wildlife forensics, games and crafts, visits from local conservation groups and the zoo.
Audience: 8-14 years old
Your child is not registered until you have placed the camp in your cart and checked out (paid for the camp(s).
An important step is to complete is the Parental Consent forms for each camper at this link: https://forms.tcc.edu/summer-camp-2020/
Forms may be completed at any time but no later than the Wednesday before the camp begins. Forms need to be completed only ONCE for the summer. Campers will not be admitted to camp until these forms are on file.
