This introductory course will have you creating 3D solid modeling parts using the latest software. No prior experience is needed. In this class you will create a variety of parts and assembly models with the Inventor software. We will also be creating engineering drawings of the parts and assemblies as well as creating presentation movies of the parts being assembled.
The Inventor software is extremely powerful allowing you to create complex models and drawing relatively easy and even test the parts before they are built.
Topics include:
Understanding the Autodesk Inventor® screen
Basics of solid modeling
Creating solid model components
Parametric Constraint fundamentals
Create or subtracting features such as Fillets, Shells, Extrusions, Holes, Revolutions etc.
Creating drawing sheets.
Sectional Views
Sheet Metal parts
Using content built into the software
Plotting drawings
Creating 3D printer parts and more.
A textbook and USB flash drive with sample files will be provided to all students.
