Implementing Strategic Partnerships

The right partnerships can make your nonprofit that much more successful. This session will provide an overview of the different kinds of partnerships that exist within the nonprofit sector and the role that partnerships play in collective impact.
 
You’ll receive practical advice on hatching partnerships and leave with strategies and tools to increase the partnership capacity of your organization.
 
This session will be co-led by Paddy Morton, an attorney experienced in nonprofit partnerships, and Melissa Sines, a governance expert. Both presenters are with Marylnd Nonprofits and the Standards for Excellence Institute. They will outline steps for implementing partnerships within a collective impact game plan, including identifying partners, completing due diligence, outlining expectations, and writing MOUs and contracts.
