Do you know where to look for information about your donors and potential donors? How do you find a potential donor who may be interested in your cause? If a donor has already given a gift to you, what indicates that they may have potential to give again or to give a larger gift?
In this class, we’ll discuss prospect research as part of a comprehensive development program, how donor information can help us determine cultivation and solicitation actions, and free and paid research tools we can use for donor research. We will identify ways to find time for research when it’s not the only thing we do, and we will practice our research in the computer lab. This class covers the CFRE exam domain for Current & Prospective Donor Research.
