| The Junior Doctors’ Camp introduces young campers to medicine, science, and the importance of health in an exciting and entertaining way. Not only will students dress like doctors, they will also learn to use instruments that doctors use, and be introduced to the surgical process as they experiment with surgical sutures! The program also introduces to students the various bodily systems and their functions, as well as first aid, CPR, and Heimlich Maneuver. Each student will bring home a real, working stethoscope in addition to worksheets and other course materials. Students who successfully complete the program will be granted a graduation diploma, which they will receive during a graduation ceremony on the last day of the camp where parents or guardians are welcome to attend.
Registration requires completion of parental consent forms at https://forms.tcc.edu/summer-camps-release/ Forms must be completed no later than Wednesday before the camp begins on Monday.
