Course Objectives and Content: Business Writing, Grammar, and Proofreading course is a two-part course that includes exercises and other hands-on activities that provide students with the opportunity to learn the essentials of successful business writing at the Executive level. Using proven American Management Association course materials, students will write, edit, and receive feedback from various writing exercises and training handouts. Course topics include, but are not limited to: presenting ideas and explanations effectively; presenting technical information clearly, coherently, and concisely; important elements of writing, such as capitalization, punctuation, proofreading, grammar—nine principal parts of speech, and writing; and, how to organize writing to be reader-friendly. This course uses the four-step business writing process to improve your business writing knowledge and skills.
