Introduction to Body Systems - (Cohort 17 - FastForward)

Introduction to Body Systems is a hybrid course.  This includes face-to-face class time as well as computer based graded tests/quizzes on Blackboard. 

Topics to be covered are: 
  • General Anatomy
  • Cells and chromosomes
  • Body Systems and Disease Processes – Immune System and Pathogens – Neoplasms
  • Homeostasis and Body Systems -Nervous System - Circulatory and Respiratory System
  • Body Systems - Digestive System -Genitourinary System - Menstrual Cycle and Pregnancy
  • Body Systems - Musculoskeletal System - Skin and Subcutaneous Tissues - Trauma and the Body - Congenital Disorders
No pre-requisites.
Attendance is mandatory.
