CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF) is a 35-hours introduction course that covers the IT Fundamentals Exam Objectives. The course focuses on the essential IT skills and knowledge needed to perform tasks commonly performed by advanced end-users and entry-level IT professionals alike. Among other areas, the student will understand the features and functions of common operating systems and establishing network connectivity, identifying common software applications and their purpose, and using security and web browsing best practices. This is the pre-requisite course for CompTIA A+, and students must obtain their IT Fundamentals Certification prior to enrolling in the CompTIA A+ class. The course book and one ITF exam voucher are included with the tuition. Please note: The exam voucher must be requested within ¬60 days of completing the course and no refund or credit is issued to any student for unused or unissued vouchers, or for any out-of-pocket associated expenses.
PreReqs: basic computer user skills, be able to complete tasks in a Microsoft® Windows® environment, be able to search for, browse, and access information on the Internet, and have basic knowledge of computing concepts.
