TCC’s Bridge to Health Care program curriculum provides a strong academic foundation in math, language arts, and anatomy and physiology. This course work will give you the opportunity to gain experience in laboratory and clinical settings to prepare you to enter an Associate of Applied Science program in Nursing, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, EMS, Health Information Management, Medical Laboratory Technology, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiography, or Respiratory Therapy. You can also prepare to earn a Career Studies Certificate in Nurse Aide. Prepare to become a competitive applicant to one of these programs with just five months of instruction, three nights a week.
This course will provide students with the knowledge and skills needed in order to be successful in any laboratory setting. Students will sit for the NHA Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exam.
PreReqs: CMA certification, High School Diploma/GED
PC Requirements: Personal computer with high-speed internet connection and email capability, Adobe Flash Player, Adobe Reader, computer speakers
