This course teaches operations of AC and DC power sources, welding polarities, heats and electrodes for use in joining various metal alloys by the arc welding process. Includes running beads, fillet and groove in flat, horizontal, and vertical positions. Emphasizes welding safety, grinding safety, welding defects (causes and cures) and welding procedures.

Tuition includes all books, supplies, and personal protective equipment and AWS Certification exam.
