ID : 7102
« back to classes page
Insurance is confusing and risk management is outright misunderstood.  Which coverages are required by Virginia law and why?  Does your Board understand what liability they may be personally responsible for?  What can a nonprofit be sued for and what options, in addition to insurance, exist for managing those risks?  This course will provide a high level overview of the most common insurance and risk management issues for nonprofits with the goal of helping decision makers make more informed decisions on what insurance to buy and why, what non-insurance options exist and what are considered best practices in 2018.
