If you are a high school student with plans for college this camp is for you! Get the jump on your college research and financial aid preparation. Join us for a week-long camp filled with vital information needed to plan and prepare for college. This camp will walk you through the college admission and financial aid process including information on local, state, and national scholarships as well as the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and much more.
Student athletes will learn about the registration process and eligibility requirements for the NCAA Eligibility Center (formerly known as the Clearinghouse) to determine qualifications to play collegiate sports.
Students will research college requirements and prepare material that will make up their portfolio of documents e.g. college essay, student resume, etc. that will be used for admission and scholarship applications.
Campers will come away from this busy week with a feeling of accomplishment having researched colleges, explored academic and athletic requirements, and prepared documents for college admission and scholarship applications…resulting in less stress for parents!
Your child is not registered until you have placed the camp in your cart and checked out (paid for the camp(s).
An important step is to complete is the Parental Consent forms for each camper at this link: https://forms.tcc.edu/summer-camp-2020/
Forms may be completed at any time but no later than the Wednesday before the camp begins. Forms need to be completed only ONCE for the summer. Campers will not be admitted to camp until these forms are on file.
