Food, Fuel, and Fitness Summer Camp

Do you want to learn how our body works and what foods fuel it to run?  Are you interested in career opportunities in wellness or health professions?  Be ready to explore the natural environment in our community to see how you can incorporate fitness and healthy eating into everyday life and how these interests translate into career options.  Join us in this nutrition and fitness adventure. Activities and topics include nutrition components of carbohydrates,, protein, and fats. What vitamins and minerals do for the body? How to get all these nutrients from the food we eat. Learn what goes on in the kitchen and how to proper measure items. Explore fitness in different aspects from agility drills, soccer concepts, gymnastics, and functional fitness, including nature hikes.
