The Virtual Professional Certificate is a 10 week professional development program that prepares individuals to move their existing skills and experience to work in a virtual environment. This program is especially suited for individuals with a highly mobile lifestyle, such as military spouses, who seek employment that is not location based.
Through the program, virtual professional students will identify best practices in building and managing a virtual practice; assess their professional skillsets and apply them to a virtual environment; identify marketing strategies to pursue virtual employment or freelance opportunities; identify and implement resources that optimize communication and productivity in a virtual environment; and identify basic project management strategies and techniques for virtual assignments.
