Get a “Taste” of what it’s like to cook in a commercial kitchen. Explore culinary arts careers too! If you are in 9th grade or above, love to cook or the idea of cooking, try out our Pizza and Pasta Week at TCC. You will learn some basic bread techniques while making home-made pizza, pasta and other fun foods like Panninis, Stromboli, Calzone, bread sticks and even some “sweets” made out of pizza dough. Plus you will get a chance to see how college works, tour the facilities and explore other careers you may find interesting and how to research them. This week long morning summer camp (9:00 to 1:00) is fun, educational and challenging as you explore the world of cooking.
