This election year has already changed the game in several ways.  North Carolina’s bathroom law, and the Federal response, have left many employers wondering how to handle diversity and other issues in the workplace.  The Obama Administration is also seeking to leave its legacy on the employment relationship, tackling a number of issues from wages to trade secrets.  For example, on May 18, the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) unveiled its long-awaited changes to the Fair Labor Standards Act’s overtime rules.  Effective December 1, 2016 these new rules may drastically change the way you manage and pay your staff.  These issues of diversity and other regulatory updates are concerning and overwhelming to many nonprofits and small businesses.

This 2-part WebEx with experienced employment law attorney, Michael Steele of Williams Mullen, will break down these issues and help you understand how they may impact your bottom line.
