The Junior Veterinarian Camp encourages campers to explore the exciting world of veterinarians. Using interactive demonstrations, crafts and games, children learn how to take care of a pet and to notice physical issues a pet may be experiencing, how to use instruments that veterinarians use, and what to expect at a veterinarian’s office. Each student will take home his/her own stuffed animal dog at the completion of the camp (which he/she will adopt on the first day and take care of throughout the week), along with a journal, adoption certificate, tape measure, dog bone cookie cutter, and so much more! Students who successfully complete the program will be granted a graduation diploma, which they will receive during a graduation ceremony on the last day of the camp where parents or guardians are welcome to attend.
