Course Description: The Supply Chain Management course examines the process of planning, organizing and controlling the flow of materials and services from supplier to end users/customers. Focuses on coordinating supply management, operations and integrated logistics into a seamless pipeline to maintain a continual flow of products and services.
Certification Information: Individual certificates are issued for the completion of each class in the Maritime Logistics Management Certification Program. Upon completion Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Materials Management, Distribution and Transportation Management, Inventory and Warehouse Management, and Maritime Logistics Afloat and Ashore the student will be qualified to take the MSSC Certification Logistics Technician (CLT) exam which is included in the Maritime Logistics Afloat and Ashore Capstone course.
