Project Management (2-day)

An interactive two-day course focusing on practical tools, strategies, and tactics to help effectively manage individuals and projects from start to finish while maintaining normal everyday duties and responsibilities. Participants will bring real world examples of past, present and/or future projects.
 
Learning Objectives:
 
  • To strengthen the foundation for defining the scope, controls, tools, processes, deliverables, and methods to support the management and delivery of successful projects
  • To practice various methods of creative and flexible ways of dealing with human behavior on all sides of the project
  • To provide a structure for the complete project life cycle
  • To chart milestones, checkpoints, activities, and necessary resources
  • To analyze and assess risks, resistance, and/or unintended consequences
  • To evaluate and provide closure or ongoing maintenance to projects by determining the follow up assessment tools, reporting, lessons learned, constructive corrections needed, and appropriate congratulations for successful work on the project.
