During this hands-on half day camp, campers will invent, investigate and explore the world of robots and simple machines. During the robotics portion, campers will investigate the world of science with hands-on exploration of real-world environmental concepts using LEGO. Students will use robotics to become detectives - investigating and answering questions about physics, life cycles, nature conservation and natural disasters. During the engineering portion, campers will receive complex design challenges based on a theme. Working in pairs, they will put their minds together to create solutions using their LEGO supplies and their growing knowledge of how simple machines work. For ages 8-12.
Your child is not registered until you have placed the camp in your cart and checked out (paid for the camp(s).
An important step is to complete is the Parental Consent forms for each camper at this link: https://forms.tcc.edu/summer-camp-2020/
Forms may be completed at any time but no later than the Wednesday before the camp begins. Forms need to be completed only ONCE for the summer. Campers will not be admitted to camp until these forms are on file.
