- Power Tools: TCC staff will demonstrate the safe and proper use of the following types of power tools: Impact drill, Miter Saw, Sawzall, Drill (corded or cordless), Skilsaw (or equivalent – corded or cordless) and Pneumatic nail gun
- Material Handling: Participants will engage in supervised practice activities to develop their material handling skills. Such activities may include the following: Wheelbarrow – loading and moving, Material Carry and Stacking (brick and block), Nailing/Hammer Station, Measuring Station, Ladder – move, carry, set up, climb and disassemble
- Capstone Project: TCC staff will supervise/ support students in completing their capstone project (Planter Box) demonstrating development of foundational construction skills.
