Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG) - OE

Course is designed for the basic needs of the manufacturing student, including instruction and practice in grinding, cutting, and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding in various positions, and thickness. Topics covered including safe use of v.1elding equipment and machinery, grinders and various tools used in the welding field. This course is designed to teach the student proper welding techniques using 2% ceriated, and 1.5% lanthanated 3/32" for steel and aluminum. The student will safely set up welding equipment, learn how to adjust it, and how to operate it. Students will learn the different settings required for various thickness of steel and a11uminum.

Tuition includes all books, supplies, and personal protective equipment and AWS Certification exam.
