Course is designed for the basic needs of the manufacturing student, including instruction and practice in grinding, cutting, and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding in various positions (flat & horizontal).  Topics covered including safe use of welding equipment and machinery, grinders and various tools used in the welding field.  This course is designed to teach the student proper welding techniques using various tungsten on carbon steel and aluminum.  The student will safely set up welding equipment, learn how to adjust it, how to operate it, and how to weld in various positions.

Tuition includes all books, supplies, and personal protective equipment and AWS Certification exam.
